The state of Maine is now cracking down on vulgar vanity license plates. Maine has recalled 274 plates that they deemed inappropriate. One example is a vegan resident’s “LUVTOFU” plate that the state says can be interpreted as a sexual reference not the admiration of tofu. Some residents are appealing the recall.
