This is not a big surprise, the guys talk about all the food they ate, or didn't eat, over the weekend. Brittney Merlot joins us to talk about the weather for the week ahead, and we get our very first leafing report. Looks like temperatures become more seasonal, and we're a few weeks away from peak leafing here in NEWisco.

Guest: Brittney MerlotOur friend Jake VandenPlas from DC Farm For Vets visits us in the studio, to not only share fresh sweet corn with the guys, but also talk about the REAL work on the farm. Yes, they are growing vegetables, raising beef, pork and chicken…but its a much deeper plan than that. The work on the farm really focuses on fighting veteran suicide. Then Mike Campbell, Founder and President of Team ONE MILE calls in to talk about the organization and the work it does. Team ONE MILE cycled over 100 miles a day from community to community across the state of Wisconsin. They had a total of 21 riders with the goal of highlighting veterans and future youth leaders. They also raised money for the Gold Star children of Camp Hometown Heroes.

Guests: Vanessa Moran, Nikki ZerjavDirector Kirt Graves and actor Zeb Metzler join the guys to talk about The Birder on Broadway's production of The Rocky Horror Show. The show is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Richard O'Brien. A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1960s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist, Dr Frank-N-Furter, unveiling his new creation, Rocky, a sort of Frankenstein-style monster in the form of an artificially made, fully grown, physically perfect muscle man complete "with blond hair and a tan." Click on the link above for show times and ticket information. Then Kristen Ambose from Point Mortgage Corporation is in with more details on the the changes in interest rates, and what it REALLY means for folks looking to buy a home. This stuff can be pretty complex, but Kristen has many years of knowledge to help steer you in the right direction!

Guests: Zeb Metzler, Kirt GravesAll it takes is Maino going to a pharmacy to pick up a prescription, and the morning starts there. From nose hair trimmers, to smoked oysters. From "Extra Strength" anything, to cough medicine. Then, somehow, Jim opens up and tells the guys he wants to make his own pickled herring. (??) A Quik Poll of the listeners show that NO ONE would want a gift from The Mayor at Christmas. I guess none of the Maino & The Mayor staff will show up at his party this year. We transition to better ideas for homemade Christmas gifts.

Guests: Ace Champion, Seong-Kyung GrahamA very good friend of the show, John Craemer swings in to talk a bit about what he's been up to. John is a military veteran who's been through a lot because of his military history. Now, he's working with the Green Bay Press Times, teaches at NWTC and has started a new career based on his love for photography. (John has helped out the show by taking photos of Jim and John for promotional use). He is open and honest and shares the story of having a panic attack just this past weekend. What set it off, he's not sure, but it's certainly tied into his military past. A great, inspirational story. Then The Malcores are In The HOUSE! Ben & Deanna are in the studio on the very day that there's talk of interest rates falling. What might that mean for possible buyers? They lay it all out for you. If you're looking to buy or sell, right now might be the right time for you to reach out! Check out their website or give them a call! 920-495-7653.
