Buckle up, because for the first time ever, I am bringing a guest.
Major Rosie Wild is a decorated British Army officer who doesn’t just talk about breaking barriers but parachutes right through them. In 2020, became the first female ever to conquer the All Arms Pre-Parachute Selection (P Company) – earning her maroon beret while leaving a trail of inspired (and slightly exhausted) male soldiers in her wake.
A Sandhurst Sword of Honour winner, she serves with the 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, and in 2024 and 2025, as a Major on the Army’s Elite Sport Programme, she swapped some drills for... well, even tougher ones.
Because Rosie isn’t content with just being a trailblazing paratrooper – she’s also a world-class pro triathlete. We’re talking dominating the “world’s most extreme triathlon” by winning Patagonman in December 2025 (finishing a ridiculous 4th overall against everyone), smashing 2nd place at Ironman Wales (with a new bike course record, naturally), and punching her ticket to the 2026 Ironman World Championships in Kona.
We chat (among other things) military grit, keeping humour under fire, and what happens when a German podcast host tries to keep up with a British super-soldier who casually outswims, outbikes, and outruns the competition before breakfast.
Drop everything & listen now.
