Majorie Taylor Greene Is Crazy As Hell And She Doesn't Care Who Knows It

Listen Later

Now you know damn well that Majorie Taylor Greene is crazy. No, no, do not sugar coat it; that woman is not mentally ill. There is no way any mentally ill person could possibly be that damn insane. Greene is one of those people who obviously stopped caring about what others think of her. She has such bravado about her false patriotism that she has probably actually fooled herself into believing that she cares actually cares what happens to this country after the Q-Anon craze has died down. Of course, if it is up to good old Majorie, that will never happen. In order to profit from conspiracy theories, one must be sure to evolve with them. It becomes necessary to create show stopping moments when your entire political career is an act. You simply have to keep the hits coming. So now Marge has decided to compare mask wearing to the little gold stars placed on Jewish people during the Holocaust. Of course the trained republican response was swift and delivered in a timely manner on the appropriate channels. All politicians are well trained to perform this song and dance whenever one of their members gets a little too out of line; it is a classic case of damage control. But where did Greene get the idea for her little rant? As much as I am sure you would all love to believe that she is as creative as she is nuts, that is simply not the case. Politicians are not a very creative bunch; they follow things by the book. They are yes men and women who are basically told what to do by the largest bidder. Behind every rambling politician's incoherent dribble, there is undoubtedly a puppet master pulling the strings. Therefore, it should be quite striking that calling liberals nazis is just another common past time for the right in this country. This became popular during the Obama administration. You see, to the right, socialism equals nazis. Yeah, I know it is dumb equation; hell, it's not even an equation at all. It is more like a statement of divine truth, a holy relic dusted off every year to revive the hatred of comfort in Americans. The comparisons between nazi Germany and Obama's America were manifold during his reign, and continue to the present day. From time to time, I still recall the famed "change" poster of the former president being defamed with a Hitler mustache by right wing propagandists. Those were the days of fema camps and aliens building pyramids, long before the Q cult started to take shape. Right wing conspiracy theories were simpler back then. They went something like this, "Oh look, a democrat. Nazi!" Pretty much anyone who worked near or close to Obama was a Nazi back then. The fema camps were supposed to be the final solution for unemployed Americans. Alex Jones foolishly stumbled upon a bunch of plastic cargo boxes on the Jesse Ventura show and began ranting and raving about genocide. All of this occurred on Ventura's show, Conspiracy Theory. Yes, that was broadcast on national television. Not to mention the many, many times conservatives have implied that liberal policies are forms of "slavery", another shocking crime of American history that republicans are busily trying to erase from the history books. As I sit here writing this, republicans are busy decrying the 1619 project, busy cutting back affirmative action, busy destroying the voting rights act, busy denying abortion rights to women, busy, busy, busy... But when the camera's turned on and they are trying to win an election, all of a sudden they remember they have to at least pretend to care on an occasional basis. One after one, republicans proceeded to apologize for the horrible antisemitism their party exudes. I wonder if they would have done the same thing had they not just spent the last two weeks screaming at democrats for "not supporting Israel". I suppose the conservatives are only interested in supporting Jewish people who live overseas. I guess a little civility for the Jewish citizens of this nation is just too much to ask.
