This week on The Mentors Radio, Host Tom Loarie talks with Greg Harden, M.S.W., an extraordinary life coach and mentor whose coaching and mentoring has changed more lives than even he imagined possible. Harden is the lifelong mentor to seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady; to Michael Phelps, the most celebrated and decorated Olympiad of all time with 28 medals; to Desmond Howard, Heisman Trophy winner; to Samantha Arsenault, the Gold medalist swimmer who overcame low sense of self-worth, injury and a tumor; to Warde Manuel whose football career-ending neck injury changed his life but not his life’s purpose—and to mentor many others as an athletic director at the University of Michigan. The more obstacles in your path, the higher odds you’ll succeed because others will back down. In this fast-paced, in-depth interview, Greg Harden will coach and mentor YOU to embrace a mindset to live your best life and achieve your passion and goals, with a sense of purpose, genuine fulfillment, peace and happiness. He also talks about the principles in his book, Stay Sane in an Insane World, filled with first-hand examples, experiences, his own challenges, principles of living a rich and rewarding life, and more.

In this episode, The Mentors Radio Host Dan Hesse talks with Andy Reid, Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs who brought the Chiefs to win two Super Bowls (so far) and who trails only Bill Belichick in career victories among active NFL coaches. Reid is considered an Offensive mastermind. His Chiefs have won seven consecutive AFC West titles and hosted five consecutive AFC championship games. But the enduring take-away is not the victories alone, it’s what goes on behind-the-scenes to prepare for and achieve those victories. Of course it’s about continuously learning, observing, honing in on player expertise and strategies… But that’s not enough. For Reid, it’s about knowing people, how a player is best motivated, how to build a genuine sense of team, and most importantly, it’s about mentoring. For him, success in life comes from teaching others. He lives what he believes; 11 NFL head coaches were mentored by Andy Reid, as branches on his famous “coaching tree.” You’ll learn all this and more to help YOU take YOUR dream to the next level.

Listen as The Mentors Radio Host Dan Hesse talks with Joe Montana, one of the greatest football players in history, a four-time Super Bowl champion. In this episode, Montana teaches us how to get the most out of those around us and how to perform under pressure. We’ll also learn how he has parlayed his team leadership skills into a very successful career as an angel investor and “Unicorn” picker. Without a doubt, Joe Montana personifies excellence and personal integrity, both on and off the field. He is one of the toughest quarterbacks ever to play the game and his trademark was unflappable poise in the clutch, earning the nickname “Joe Cool.” Yet the word most closely associated with Joe is not winner — it’s leader. After leading Notre Dame to the college football national championship, Joe led the San Francisco 49ers to four Super Bowls titles with Joe earning MVP honors three times. He finished his legendary NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs and he’s a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His post-football life has been just as successful, as a public speaker, advertising pitchman, husband, father, grandfather, and “angel” investor.
