ACIM: lesson 11: My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world: first idea in correction reversal of the thinking of the world. It seems as if the world determines what you perceive. Today’s idea introduces the concept of your thoughts determine the world you see. The key to forgiveness and all change lie in it.
Begin with your eyes closed and repeat the idea slowly to yourself. Open your eyes and look around and say the theme of the day. Practice casually for a minute 3-5 times a day.
As I think of my thoughts as meaningless and as showing me a meaningless world, I realize that what I used to base every perception I have on, is an ego that wants to keep me focused in the ‘physical reality’ or dream state, where I am trapped into a roller coaster of emotions and events that leave me exhausted, desperate, confused, and frustrated. This is not a life. This is an absurd existence.
Capitalism is based on trying to sell us things that will make us feel better and there is no benefit to capitalism for us to be able to create our reality without some external lubricant.
7 steps to manifesting your desires.
1) Know your desire and put it out to the universe. This could just you thinking of it or telling someone else about it. Remember to be careful who you share this with if their energy is not one who believes in manifestation or can be easily discouraged.
Generally the manifestions that can be set in motion are for the great good either for yourself, someone else or the world.
2) Align your vibration for this manifestation to the world through relaxed meditation, journaling, kind acts to yourself and others etc.
3) Try not to give it a time limitation. if you don’t attach yourself to a time limitation your desires will generally come more quickly. When we decide there is a time constraint usually we act out of urgency, desperation and it makes us act and look weird changing our vibration and what we attract or what we can see.
4) Work on your early disappointments and discouragement that can make us believe that our desires are out of reach. Ask yourself: What is your earliest memory about being discouraged or disappointed. Take your adult self back and keep that little one company with your present self and remind her that she got here today and that everything was going to be ok.
5) If the manifestation didn't appear in the way we envision than find the lesson, gift or opportunity that we are supposed to learn in the process.
6) Make the journey as fun and meaningful as possible.
7) Rinse and repeat
