South Africa’s workplace rulebook may soon get a significant refresh. The Minister of Employment and Labour, Nomakhosazana Meth, has published a set of new labour Bills for public comment that could reshape work hours, parental leave and worker protections across the country.
The proposed changes aim to modernise key labour laws, strengthen job security and improve fairness in the workplace.
