It’s MIMS first episode with our first special guest Hana Gonçalves but still the waffling continues. The return of the wafflers. It was a new chance and new hope of making sense…But as usual don’t think we did. You can decide…Despite Disney+ going on break with the MCU TV shows we still found plenty to discuss Marvel wise delving into Shang chi and the future of Phase 4, turning to the things we enjoy about adulthood (Moni’s number 1 won’t even surprise you). With great age does not come great maturity but it does come with more things we don’t like and if only we could throw them into ROOM 101, MIMS could only dream of it.

Can’t lie today’s conversation went very left very quickly. Darrius woke up and chose violence, Moni became a victim, Daisy tried to keep the sanity and Kieran waffled and spat lies as usual! Apologies for the break but at least it allowed us to talk about FATWS in totality and all the racial symbolism which lead us down the rabbit hole into the bane of MIMS’s dating existence: fetishisation.

New Marvel show means the squad are back to discussing the ramifications of Falcon and Winter soldier’s adventures on the world of marvel enthusiasts (no predictions this time. At the same time as lockdown restriction begin to lift they all begin to consider what life after lockdown will entail including the pain of going back to work. Ain’t nobody got time for that

PSA: Today, we play no games. Today we are in serious mode. Of course we’ve all seen the gross response to Meghan Markle by Piers Morgan and backing by Sharon Osbourne, in the same week Sarah Everard was stalked and killed by a police officer. On either side of these events was Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day and we here at MIMS couldn’t just ignore the feeling of disillusionment and sorrow that rose in our spirit. Indeed we discuss more light hearted topics because after all when the world is dark we want to bring some brightness. But trigger warnings for everyone because we do discuss things of a sensitive nature. RIP Sarah. More life, peace and power to women everywhere. We hope everyone who tunes in this week is enlightened by our discussion.
