MAKE JESUS KNOWN

Pastor James calls Christians to return to a pure, simple, and sincere devotion to Christ and warns against entanglement in "Christian obsessions" that have a religious appearance but rob you of your blessing and cause your heart to harden against other Christians. The way out is found in the old path of submission and transformation.

*Sound will come on after a couple of seconds*
Pastor James goes back to the basics of the Christian Faith and walks us through some of the main commandments Jesus gave His followers to obey. He lays down the framework for our walk with Him and challenges us to build on the Rock by being not merely hearers of the Word, but doers.

Pastor James exhorts us to be teachable, flexible, and adaptable as Christians to be able to hold the new wine He has for us for which we will have to be stretched. He gives some practical points on how we can prepare our bodies which act as a vessel for the new wine and leads us to go back to the basics of the Christian Life as laid out on the Sermon on the Mount.

Pastor James gives an important message on the danger of deception and exhorts the Church to beware of false prophets that will inevitably come to try to pluck the vulnerable from the flock, giving us pointers on how to spot them:
False prophets...
1. Spread permissive doctrine
2. Are prone to self-exaltation
3. Are motivated by money
4. Offer (false) joy and peace
5. Cause divisions

A healthy warning and a call to sobriety in today's spiritual climate!

Pastor James gives us a searching message about the power of the tongue and the consequences of idle words spoken without thought or white lies used under pressure - things that happen more often in Christian circles than we think! However, just as in the case of Peter - who invoked a curse upon himself by denying Jesus three times - so with us there is abundant grace available as the Lord seeks to restore and reinstate us after our mistakes and failures.

We hope you have been blessed by this message!

Pastor James gives a clear reminder of Jesus' last orders to the Church before He ascended to Heaven and shows how His orders have been under the attack of Satan ever since.
