Paul has spent nearly 30 years shaping vibrant downtowns, including the past 20 as CEO of the Downtown Halifax Business Commission, where he supports more than 1,700 businesses through advocacy, beautification, marketing, and community engagement.

Beyond Halifax, Paul serves on boards including the International Downtown Association, Downtowns Atlantic Canada, and the Royal Nova Scotia Tattoo, and is a co-founder of the Art of City Building conference and Halifax International Fleet Week. A Dalhousie graduate with a BComm and MBA, he’s also completed executive leadership programs at Wharton.
