Often when people go through difficult times it's because they feel helpless in their situation, unable to do anything about it. In perfection is what we should make space for because perfection is a difficult goal to achieve. Perfection is subjective and can change all the time, it is in many cases an impossible standard to live by and often sucks out the joy from our lives.
