What if you could send 35 pig hearts to a few businesses, and then pocket over $220K? I don't have to imagine that, because it's something I've done in my own lifetime.Marketing stunts, just like publicity stunts, aren't always guaranteed to work. Like the old saying goes, you win some, and you lose some. However, the simple fact is that any kind of marketing stunt generally will have a higher chance of creating a splash when compared to boring traditional marketing, simply because of the nature of what they are.Take my first company as an example, uSocial. We decided we wanted to rake in some new high-ticket clients in our home city of Brisbane, and decided to come up with a marketing stunt to match. And as you'll hear in this episode, the marketing stunt in question involved 35 pig hearts, and a couple of angry car dealerships.However, the plus was that the stunt in question also resulted in us gaining three new high-ticket clients, worth around $225,000 AUD in business over the next year.
