As we get ready for the 3rd Annual Rebel Jam in Winfield, Alabama, on Saturday, I wanted to share my conversation with Elaina Burt about Charlie's Chance and epilepsy awareness!
Elaina, who is Miss Leeds Area’s Outstanding Teen, has founded Charlie’s Chance to support people like her cousin, Charlie Mae, who live with epilepsy. At just 16 years old, Elaina is doing big things, including partnering with Epilepsy Foundation Alabama and working to get special seizure first aid legislation passed at the state level.
