Making Christ Known

In this episode, Pastor Eric preaches from the books of Luke and Romans about the glory of God through the Christmas story. The angels' song is meant to magnify God and His glory. God's peace is given to those who have His favor: salvation through Jesus. By accepting the birth of Christ and the Gospel, we too can glorify God with our lives. The secret of God's Gospel is secret no more. How does that change your life? How does that change your urgency of the great commission?

In this episode, Pastor Eric preaches from the book of 1 Timothy about the incarnation of Christ. He'll preach about the great confession, calling, and consequence. Jesus Christ came so that we could life abundantly through salvation. He is in the manger no longer: He is in heaven at the right hand of the Father. From the manger to glory, Jesus is our great High Priest. This Christmas season, remember also our commission—to make Christ known to those around us.

In this episode, Pastor Eric preaches from the book of Matthew about the visitation of the wise men. As we learn about the account and the gifts they brought, think about the ultimate gift of Christ our Savior. Who is truly giving the gift in the Christmas season? Also, what can you give to God to make more room for the Savior? What can you give to others? This season, let us regift the gifts that God has so graciously bestowed upon us.

In this episode, Pastor Eric preaches on the incarnation of Christ, purposed to rescue mankind. Jesus came to reveal God's message of salvation, founded in grace and truth. God's attributes were clearly seen through Jesus' life, ministry, death, and resurrection. This Christmas season, ponder the testimony of and evidence of Jesus as all-powerful, all-loving Savior and Lord.

In this episode, Pastor Eric preaches from a variety of Scriptures about the eternal security of the believer. God is both powerful and loving enough to eternally secure us. As you'll see in this episode, many Holy Scriptures ensure us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Though we are far from guiltless and blameless, God is faithful to us through Jesus' sacrifice. God sustains us. How does this support your confidence in Christ?

In this episode, Pastor Eric brings a timely message from the book of Acts about the call to evangelism in the Christian life. Paul's evangelism showed respectfulness and kindness to his audience as he shared his own conversion story. Furthermore, he appealed to people searching for hope with a reasonable argument about the doctrine of salvation through Jesus Christ. Let us learn from Pauls example as we participate in evangelism to those in our own lives.

In this sermon, Pastor Eric delivers a message from the book of Psalms about thanksgiving to the Lord. When we've forgotten the benefits of grace through faith in Christ, we become dissatisfied. Sometimes it takes effort to slow down and remember thankfulness, but we need to awake the memory of thankfulness in our hearts. We need to thank God for His actions and attributes. After that, we need to let our thanksgiving affect our faith in action. God is faithful, and let us show respect, reverence, and renewal in our walks with Him.

In this final episode of the "Joseph: Rise Above" series, Pastor Eric preaches from Genesis 49 and 50, as well as Romans 8. We will see that God works everything for the good of His children. Just like God forgives us of our sin, Joseph chose to forgive his brothers. Mercy is central to the Gospel. God's mercy and direction is something Joseph celebrated through faith. Let us follow this example of faith.

In this episode of the "Joseph: Rise Above" series, we'll see three truths about God from the 46th chapter of the book of Genesis: God is faithful, God guides, and God provides. Though Joseph faced dark times, God was true to His word and fulfilled His promises. If we are willing to follow God's call, we can be fruitful in our ministry and life. True joy can be found in standing on God's promises. Let us rely on—and give praise to—God for fulfilling all our needs.

In this episode of the "Joseph: Rise Above" series, we'll see the moment that Joseph finally reveals himself to his brothers. We'll also see God's promises fully revealed in the life of His faithful servant, Joseph. Sometimes it may seem like God's plan for us is unclear or unfolding more slowly than we'd like. However, the story of Joseph is another testament to God's faithfulness. By waiting on the Lord, Joseph was able to be a blessing to others. We hope this message encourages you to extend forgiveness and mercy to others and have reliance on God.
