This challenge was by far my hardest. The biggest reason is that it seemed to always have hurdles in front of completing it. I do really appreciate everyone who was in this challenge. It took a long time and it just never felt right. But, I learned that I had to relax and let be. So, cheers to the Drunken Retort and I hope this challenge encourages you, folks, to keep going for another seven years.

Make sure to follow the Diatribe at https://thediatribe.org/. Here you will be able to find out more about this group and what they do to inspire youth and creativity in West Michigan.

Also, check-out the Drunken Retort on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1544851055761733/ to find more events and speak with participants of the open mic event.

Big shout-out to Darius Davis & Eric Van Dam for your work as cameramen. Without you, this project would have been completely lost.

This was a project I started to work on back in 2018. It has been a passion of mine to record a spoken word project. Though there were many hurdles that included losing a lot of the original works. I am really glad to recover the files that I have. Though I moved on to other projects, I couldn't allow myself to not honor some of the most amazing people in West Michigan. Thank You!!!  Thank you, to those that were involved in this original recording and happy 7 year anniversary to the Drunken Retort. KEEP MAKING HISTORY!!!

The MHHM podcast started with episodes that teach you how to make a podcast. Though there was a lot to be taught, that doesn't mean there wasn't a lot to learn. After doing the show for a few episodes. It seemed to flow better with simply the interviews. Yes, reducing certain segments would be a good idea. But, eventually, the goal was to get to the point of not just teaching about podcasting. The goal was also to teach people about modern history makers. So, from now on, there will be more interviews and the teaching portion would be made separately. Keep a lookout on our social media pages to find out when there will be more teaching segments.
