Remember Test? We think everyone does, but what people DON'T remember is any storyline where he came out looking strong. Poor Test was on the receiving end of a lot of ass kickings during his time in WWF, WWE and even third-brand ECW, but was never booked as the monster he should have been. This week, Dylan dives in and re-books Test to give the guy some character that will almost certainly have led him to better things back in 1999.

THIS is a big one. Retribution, AKA "Nexus 2" are a group who, at the time of writing, are a result of terrible booking from the WWE. The group were brought in, caused very brief havoc, and are now being made into a mockery on Raw.

Exit light, enter night, take my hand, SANDMAN'S HERE IN KAYFABELAND. The Sandman was always an interesting character. He'd never be called the greatest in-ring performer, he'd never be referred to as having the greatest physique, but boy did he have charisma and the support of the audience. That's why we at Making Kayfabe are fans of the Sandman character, and we're going to take a stab (or a Singapore Cane) at re-booking him during the abomination that was WWECW. We. Love. Sean. O'Haire. As confirmed by our listeners in a Twitter poll (@MakingKayfabe - come join the fun!), Sean O'Haire is a HUGE missed opportunity from wrestling's past.

 

In late 2003, vignettes started to air featuring Sean O'Haire playing a "devil's advocate" role. He'd convince you to cheat on your partner, he'd convince you to not pay your taxes, stop following your religion, break the law, etc etc etc. The intense promos lasted 30 seconds each but are still ingrained in mind of wrestling fans nearly two decades later, especially since the gimmick was scrapped after two weeks. Join us as we re-book Sean O'Haire LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN, and then wrap up the episode with a particularly sticky Kayfabe Tombola.

Shane McMahon is coming NOWHERE F*CKING NEAR this storyline as we re-book the Kane unmasking from 2003!

 

When Kane unmasked, he was a legit monster, the likes of which have rarely been seen in the WWE. But alas, his flame (excuse the pun) was extinguished fairly quickly when the aforementioned McMahon was standing toe-to-toe with him in singles matches. A constant subject of criticism for AEW is the booking of its Women's Division. Since it's inception, the Women's Championship didn't really get a whole lot of focus, and many storylines involving it left fans wanting more.
