In Ephesians 5, Paul teaches that as Christ gave himself for you and his bride, his church. We should be willing to give all for our wives. This idea conflicts with our selfish, self-seeking culture. But as we learned last week. Marriage is from God and God gave us the rules for marriage. If our marriage is going to exceed basic survival, if our marriage is going to flourish and prosper, we must get back to the original intent and teaching from God about marriage, family, and all of the issues of life.
