A unique episode of Making the Leap featuring two fearless men in their respective fields who've stood tall at great personal cost to their careers and families because they stayed true to their Christian faith.
You no doubt heard about the high school football coach fired for praying on the field. His historic victory before the Supreme Court last year wasn't widely noticed, but it was a huge win for religious liberty. Coach Joe Kennedy joins us to discuss his story and his new book "Average Joe."
Then, actor Kevin Sorbo shares a bit of his behind-the-scenes perspective as a practicing Christian and homeschool parent in one of the most secular places on Earth - Hollywood.

In this increasingly "inclusive" culture, many girls and young women are being faced with a shocking new reality. Boys and young men who decide they're female are now allowed to share locker rooms, bathrooms, and even take their roster spot in competitive women's sporting events in many places. Sadly, it's not exclusive to public and secular schools.
Join the Stigalls as they host former NCAA Women's Swimming champ Riley Gaines as she shares her story of initially fearing the woke mob in speaking out against competition with a biological male posing as a female peer. Later, hear how her voice grew to be the leading spokeswoman in the nation for protecting women's sports in schools.

The Washington Post just completed a deep-dive survey of parents who homeschool and their motivations for doing so. The Stigalls pour through the Post's sometimes interesting and sometimes insulting conclusions from the survey.
Dr. Keri Ingraham joins the show to thoroughly explain what ESAs or "universal school choice" means by definition and what goes into the funding formula for those who live in states with "universal school choice." What does that mean for you as a parent to participate? What are Education Savings Accounts for your K-12 student and do you know how to access them?
Those who live in states with true school choice won't want to miss this topic! Those who don't have access to school choice will want to hear why its such an important development for your family's success in education.

On today's episode, Chris and Christine look into the world of an average mother and citizen in her community, Buffy Smith. Buffy ran for her public school board and won. She proudly served for many years until she ultimately decided her public schools weren't the best fit for her own children.
When she made the move to Christian education for her family, Buffy came under attack. Community members labeled her as a "hypocrite" for serving her community's schools while not choosing them for her own children.
Today, you'll hear why even serving on your local school board still might not be enough to assure your child gets the best possible outcome in academics.

Chris and Christine discuss the growing nationwide trend of schools attempting to keep students' gender transitions a secret from their parents.
"What are your pronouns?" is now a common question heard in public school classrooms. Some schools have even set up "gender affirming closets" so students can change clothes at school without parental knowledge.
Parents must take this issue seriously, especially as the battle for parental rights heads to the courts. In New Jersey, the attorney general actually sued three school districts over their policies to inform parents of their children’s gender transitions

Chris and Christine discuss Charlotte Mason’s method of education with Ambleside Schools International Founder Maryellen St. Cyr.
In 1989, Maryellen began to search for a philosophically and pedagogically consistent method of Christian education. She found just such a method in the writings of British educator, Charlotte Mason. Maryellen has since become one of the country’s leading experts on Charlotte Mason’s pedagogy and was a primary author of the book, When Children Love to Learn.
In 2000, Maryellen founded Ambleside School of Fredericksburg, Texas, providing children with a Charlotte Mason education and serving as a center for training interested educators from around the world. In response to growing requests for help in establishing Ambleside Schools, in 2005, Maryellen co-founded Ambleside Schools International.

Chris and Christine discuss the growing importance of receiving a Christ-centered education with a mom and Christian school graduate, Hannah Earle.
Hannah's background is in psychology and social work. Through this work experience, Hannah realized that young people are up against more cultural forces than ever before. As culture continues to shift, it's exceedingly important for young people to receive a Christian education.
