Lindsey Pollak, the author of a new career advice book for college students and recent graduates, "Getting from College to Career: 90 Things to Do Before You Join the Real World", offers career tips to students: avoiding the biggest mistake of doing nothing; getting all of your ducks in a row; becoming an expert researcher; cleaning up your online image; emailing like a professional; networking; and following up. Ms. Pollak concludes her speech by sharing a bonus tip: do not curb your enthusiasm!
