She’s the same mysterious girl Bond saved at the beach, Tracy diVicenzo. Bond refuses initially.

When he returns to London, MI6 takes Bond off the SPECTRE case. This puts Bond’s knickers in a twist, so he takes some leave to woo Tracy and learn the location of Blofeld, SPECTRE’s bald leader. Turns out Tracy doesn’t want to be wooed, which only makes Bond redouble his effort to woo her. He pursues Tracy, even after Draco divulges Blofeld’s location, but takes a break to infiltrate Blofeld’s organization.

United Artists released Thunderball to theaters on December 22, 1965. Terence Young directs the film which stars Sean Connery, Claudine Auger, and Adolfo Celi.

Thunderball Movie Summary

SPECTRE is at it again. This time, their plot involves sending an undercover agent to pose as the copilot of a nuclear bomber to kill the crew and steal the nukes. They do just that and hold NATO hostage for one million dollars, or he will blow up a major American city and a major British city. Sorry, two hundred seventy million dollars. SPECTRE is headed by the mysterious, cat-stroking Number One. But he delegates the management of this particular plot to the one-eyed #2.

James Bond is hot on their tail. And by hot on their tail, I mean he starts shagging Number Two’s number one, Domino. Bond uses Domino to get close to Number Two, I think. Bond wastes a lot of time at this point, dancing, and sneaking, and fighting without any clear purpose. He gets shot at one point, I think.

United Artists released Goldfinger to theaters on January 9, 1965. Guy Hamilton directs the film which stars Sean Connery, Gert Fröbe, and Honor Blackman.

Goldfinger Movie Summary

Goldfinger, it seems, has a lot of gold. In fact, he smuggles his gold across national borders and uses it to smother traitorous broads. The Brits send James Bond to keep an eye on him and schtoop his secretary. While spying and schtooping, Bond catches wind of something Goldfinger calls “Operation Grand Slam,” which, contrary to Bond’s intuition, does not involve four flight attendants and a bucket of baseballs.

After a long and tragic car chase, Goldfinger catches Bond at his smuggling operation and decides to slice him in half with a laser beam. But Goldfinger changes his mind and decides instead to fly Bond out to Kentucky for some horse racing. Goldfinger’s jet is piloted by Pussy Galore. They fly to Kentucky and put Bond in prison. He escapes and eavesdrops on Goldfinger’s meeting with some mafiosos. It is here that Goldfinger lays bare his dastardly plot. They plan to gas all of the military in Fort Knox and break in and steal all of the gold.
