Richard Nelson is a Senior Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst with the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center at the Center for Internet Security. Richard is not only an Electrical Engineer and retired Navy Officer but is also extensively certified with a range of industry credentials including Darkweb investigations and Malware Reverse Engineering and has worked for industry leaders such as GE Power Systems and CACI. Join us this week as Richard explains what Cyber Threat Intelligence is and how Cyber Crime is actually a business that closely resembles the Tech landscape with job postings and benefits including things like your 401k (not an exaggeration).

This week  Sadie Gauthier, aka “the Real STEM Sadie” joined us to talk about Neurodiversity in the Cyber workforce and its potential to positively impact business processes. Sadie is a courseware engineer at the SANS Research and Operations Center and public speaker focused on neurodiversity and chronic illness in Cyber Security. A former cryptanalyst at the U.S. Department of Defense, her technical interests include Cryptomathematics, Digital Forensics and Incidence Response (DFIR), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).

Join us this week as we speak with Mike Wilkes, Chief Information Security Officer at Lark Health, about the coming Digital Potato Famine and some of the now publicly disclosed breaches that have rocked the Movie industry. Mike has been a security leader for Marvel Entertainment, Sony, and Macy's as well as European banks and airlines. Nominated in 2020 to the World Economic Forum as a technology pioneer, he provides thought leadership on cyber resilience in the oil and gas industry as well as quantum security working groups and took the time to share some tips that anyone and any business can take to be more resilient in the wake of cyberattacks leaving no stone left unturned.

This week we were joined by Leron Gray, a Senior Offensive Security Consultant  and PhD Student at Dakota State University known for his music, RAM digital forensics investigations, and throwing hands on twitter. Leron's experiences span the U.S. Navy, Microsoft's Cloud Red Teams, and some of the nation's most prestigious cybersecurity consulting firms. Leron was able to share his thoughts on how to get started in Penetration Testing/Offensive Security, ChatGPT's impact on our field, and how Malware is impacting small businesses nation wide.
