 Philippians 4:6 (NIV)“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”  Psalm 22:19 (NIV)“But you, Lord, do not be far from me. You are my strength; come quickly to help me.”  2 Corinthians 4:16-18  So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.  Psalms 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.  John 14:1-3 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also…”

On tonight’s episode:  That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26  Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Romans 8:26  Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Psalm 82:3  Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41   When you get a chance to study these in the day, ask God in prayer for clarity before you start. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God   John 3:16-18 ESV “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.  Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
