When I first thought about starting a podcast, Golden Valley Farms was at the top of my list for guests! Being a self admitted “coffee snob” and having been a customer of Golden Valley for several years, I not only LOVE their coffee, I have gotten to become friendly with them. I sat down with Maryann and Jackie to learn about how Golden Valley Farms got started, how much they’ve grown, and learn about what being Bird Friendly and Triple Certified means in the Coffee industry.
We also talk about the Artisan Exchange, which the family also runs, and how it helps entrepreneurs (start-ups and existing businesses) in areas involving setup, operations, marketing, negotiations, financing, regulations, and relationship building. Since its inception in 2012, they’ve helped over 230 businesses start, grow, or expand. You can visit the Artisan Exchange (208 Carter Drive Suite 13 B West Chester, PA 19382) every Saturday from 10-1 and try some of the wonderful foods and goods being sold there, and I cannot recommend enough trying some of the Golden Valley Farms coffee, if you don’t love it, I’ll reimburse you!!
As always, thanks for listening, please like and subscribe and spread the word. If you or someone you know wants to be featured on an episode, let me know!
