Special guest time! This week we are joined by Tom Home, founder of Blokes and all round gent.
Tom talks us through how his mental health deteriorated following getting dropped from the uni rugby team and how, on reflection, his mental state wasn’t the best when he was younger. He also shares the overwhelming feeling he felt by being prescribed everything at once and deciding to settle on conversations. Tom’s a big believer of normalising talking about what’s going on in your mind. He also discusses how Blokes was born from the 2020 Lockdown. Find more information here - https://www.blokes.life/.
Huggy’s playlist gets another honourable mention and there is some fantastic advice shared for those who are just starting uni. There’s also a shoutout for Northumbria university for the mental health support they offer - go on lads! We urge you to share this episode with anyone you know that is about to go into university.
And we finish with our favourite guest question: What is good mental health? A great answer from Tom and a fantastic guest to our podcast.

Into double figures we go! And this time we’re in a new virtual studio - expect sound effects throughout. This week we talk through about our mental health over the last couple of weeks and the effect burnout has had on us both.
Huggy talks through his life’s troubles from work, to surgery, to buying a house and how his support system is helping him take the pressure off. We also dive into which supermarket has the best meal deal (Still no Tesco sponsor).
Sean shares the struggles of not having enough annual leave to recharge leading to his current mission of recharging whilst on the go. He shares the 3 tips he’s found so far to help and also discusses his issue with sweating.
Agony Uncles offers advice on those with Tourettes looking to make new friends. Some good advice and the introduction of a clap from the audience (we said there would be sound effects)
#SayYourDay returns with Huggy’s recovery from knee surgery, Sean washing his clothes in a bin, and a great tip to make the most of your lunch hour

We’re back with another fantastic guest. This week we’re joined by Susie Aitken, the brains behind the campaign ‘It’s ok to feel S.H.I.T’. Susie talks through what she does, famous ambassadors, and her story of dealing with mental health in the 90s.
Dare we say it but it’s almost educational!. Filled with tips for starting a conversation, the importance of listening, and what more should be done in schools to tackle mental health earlier. We then lower the tone by mentioning Huggy’s now-infamous playlist.
Susie then shares what she believes ‘good’ mental health is and how she maintains this through life's ups and downs. And AGAIN we lower the tone, with Huggy discussing his love of high heels. He does love a stiletto to be fair to the lad.
A brilliant guest with great insight and we hope you learn something new - we certainly did! You can check out the work Susie does here https://sohappyintown.com/product/its-ok-to-feel-s-h-i-t-tee-white-small-logo-men/

Pressure week! Hot off the back of that Euro final, Huggy and Sean discuss the last time they felt pressure and how they dealt with it. Huggy shares his pressure from presenting and hatred of rollercoasters, whilst Sean discusses the pressure in his sales role and his fear of rollercoasters. Please don’t take us to Thorpe Park.
The Agony Uncles are dealt a tricky question this week. Our main advice - seek professional help. Huggy then also reveals our exciting new release.
And finally to #SayYourDay. Huggy mentions his upcoming surgery and plans to be a ballerina whilst Sean talks through his weekend binging. (Still no Nandos sponsorship yet)

He also shares how he coped with his First Dates experience and what he believes is the key to good mental health. There’s also a shameless plug for Danny’s barbershop in Preston ‘Danny’s Barbers’ - Check them out!

Join us this week as we talk through the latest Joe Marler show ‘Big boys don’t cry’ and what we both learned from it. Huggy shares his going to work story and we also ask the question of how many people who were overweight at a young age have impacted mental health due to it. Let us know if you'd like to come on to discuss!
The Agony Uncles touch on Pride Month and how they would come out to their friends. This leads to Huggy questioning should people even be made to come out at all?
Then we end by sharing where our mental health is currently on the forever popular #SayYourDay!

A special guest episode! We speak with a long time friend Fraser Martin, previously known as John Big Belly Man about his mentality when dealing with his weight. He shares with us how he lost his weight and changed his mentality. He also shares a fantastic story about how panicking when he lost his Juul made him give up smoking/vaping for good.
Fraser stays on to joining the Agony Uncles where we try and offer advice on a fella who's got cold feet about moving in with his girlfriend, which somehow ends up with Huggy talking about weeing at night-time.
Then we end sharing where our mental health is currently on the forever popular #SayYourDay.

We are also back with another shameless plug for Nandos to sponsor us this time - we won't give up!
The Agony Uncles discuss Huggy’s issue with comparing himself against others, and whether it’s completely normal or not.
