Today, we come to the closing two chapters of the book of Revelation. For nearly a year, we have been studying this exciting and thought provoking book. And, now at last, we come to the subject of heaven.

The Great White Throne is the setting for the final judgment where God will judge every thought, word, and deed of every unredeemed human being.

It is sobering to see how swiftly and completely the dominion of Satan, the rule of the AntiChrist, the false prophet and all that is ungodly comes suddenly to an end. An un-named angel - not Michael or Gabriel - just another angel locks Satan away, fire consumes the enemies of our God, Earth, and heaven are uncreated in an instant. And it is done.

When Jesus comes again, He is not on a donkey but a white horse. He comes in fiery vengeance with a sword of judgment and with blood-splattered garments.

There is a better world coming - a world ruled by One Person whose mind, will, wisdom, judgment, and justice are perfect.

Revelation Chapters 19 and 20 have one overriding theme: the appearance of the Son of Man. In this vision, we also see the response of the people when they see Him, His appearance at the marriage supper of the Lamb, the authority with which He reigns, and His righteous judgment at the Great White Throne.

Nowhere in the Bible is it more clearly revealed that God will judge the world than in the book of Revelations. Terrifying judgment is coming. This judgment will happen over a seven-year period and it will increase in intensity each year.

Don't align with, trust in, stand alongside or commit to the systems of this world. They will fail. They will be destroyed.

Satan's final empire will be a literal global, material, earthly kingdom. But, it will be spiritual and religious.

If we do not worship the One True God, then we will worship someone, something, somewhere...
