"For… our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears." - 2 Corinthians 7:5

But God has a standard and it seems like that standard has been lowered and in this season of grace He is calling a church to raise the standard.

Jesus is unrelenting. Like the good Shepherd on a stormy night, He comes seeking us and calling our name.

John Maxwell has famously stated; ‘everything rises and falls on leadership.’ Everything begins and ends with the quality of a leader.

“I boast only one thing; the simple, wooden cross that represents  the vast and glorious things Jesus did for us at Calvary.  I will glory in the cross!”

For the next few weeks we will look at what I believe could be the greatest section of true prophecy in a great book full of prophecy - Isaiah the 53rd chapter.

In the time of Malachi the people of God are disappointed and they are disillusioned and even worse despairing; they're beginning to ask, was returning from excite even worth it? It's in this space that God speaks through His prophet. He begins to speak about the ideas of legacy and lineage. He speaks to their importance as links in the gospel chain and the future He has for all humanity.

Salvation was accomplished at the cross but Holy Ghost Baptism for global evangelism was sent at Pentecost.
