Manage your mood

Listen Later

It is not uncommon for people from all walks of life to feel sad or lonely at times. Everyone at one time or another will have the blues; with the blues, you can bounce back relatively quickly. You will not dwell on the situation and can focus on getting out of the slump. This could take some time, but it won’t linger if you try.
Boosting your mood and helping yourself feel more positive is a great thing to do, no matter how tough life can be. I also feel sad and lonely at times and have set some ground rules for those days too.
- It must not last for more than 5-10 mins.
- These 5-10 minutes must not occur day, occasionally is fine.
- When needed, talk to friends, or meet them personally.
- Sing along to a favorite piece of music
- Watch an episode of a classic comedy does the trick at times.
- Get close to nature, take a walk in the park barefoot.
- Eat dark chocolates (not my favorite though)
- Cook, bake, eat your favorite food
- Do anything that makes you feel better
- Bounce back for sure
