Hello everyone. My name is Sini. Today I want to talk about what I call "managing anxiety." I know in the time pass we have passed through one level of anxious moments or two or many times in our different phases of life. I have also passed through so many anxious moments, but the most important thing is not passing through such memories but rather how we manage such moments. Of course, at every phase of life, we face different challenges, but challenges are not your problem, how we manage such challenges is actually much more important. So I want to share from my experience how I have managed some anxious moments in my life, especially in the past one year, and how such moments have helped me to shape my character and shape my skills. You know, to shape my life that actually propelled me to where I am right now. So, anxious moments are not necessarily bad. However, if we fail to manage them, it can resolve to something that we don't want or it can produce a negative outcomes in our life.

So, it is very-very important for us to know how to manage anxious moments in our lives. It is very important for us to device mechanisms of how to manage such moment and anxious moment usually come at a time of breakthroughs in our life. You know, at a point where we are switching from one phase to another, that's where such a social movement usually comes from, and if you fail to manage them as I said, it would definitely create a negative outcome. It is natural for every human being to like to be in his or her comfort zone. However, being in your comfort zone might not necessarily translate into growth. So, life is full of risk, and the greater the measurable risks you take, the higher your chances of becoming successful...

So what I did was to forget about those things, to forget about what is next in my career, and I was concentrating on achieving my immediate Milestone, and at that time, my immediate Milestone ensure that I wrote my dissertation very well, so I concentrated my energy on ensuring that, I actually write a fantastic dissertation. I wrote a fantastic, well-referenced dissertation that can be presented anywhere in the world. I did not worry about what is going to happen tomorrow, where I'm going to go next, I was concentrating on achieving my immediate Milestone and immediately I finish writing my dissertation. I now progress into doing some academic application and doing some job application, and at any time that I was doing that I made sure that I put my best in the process of doing those application, thinking not about what the outcomes of such application will be, you will discover that any time you find yourself in an anxious situation, if you don't manage it very well, it will deny you from putting a lot of effort in achieving Something that is great for you at that time. And when I did that, I concentrated on achieving my immediate milestone. I discovered that those anxieties were no more there, I redefined my success, and the way I defined it was that my ability to do what I am supposed to do right now in the very best way is success, rather than my long-term goals.

So every day I ensured that I was successful in what I was doing, and that strategy actually helped me achieve long-term success. So, what I learned from that scenario is that to achieve your biggest success or your long-term success, it is highly dependent on your ability to achieve your small, small, small successes or small small, small Milestone because those smaller milestones are what will lead to achieving your bigger milestone.

So, my challenge for you today is: how well are you managing your immediate milestone today?

How well are you managing that small job that you're doing while you are looking forward to that big a job?

Thank you for listening.
