If you’re handling the bank accounts and bills after a bereavement, this event will help you to understand what to do and where to get help.
We’ll cover benefits, debts and building a budget - with tips on how to manage your money when your circumstances suddenly change. The event will be an informal chat between Liz Dore, a personal budget coach and debt advisor, and Emily Cummin. There will be 20 minutes for questions & answers at the end.
About Liz Dore:
Liz is a qualified personal budget coach and debt advisor. She has worked as a volunteer with a variety of clients for more than 10 years, helping them to handle their personal money, manage their benefits, and understand their debt management options.
She is also an Independent Advocate, taking action to help people with mental health disabilities and dementia to say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need.
In her professional career she has worked for IBM for 30+ years as a Trusted Business Advisor in a variety of management, sales and technical roles in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, she is an IT Economics Consultant, working with clients across Europe to understand the economics of their IT platforms and strategic infrastructure.
