Larissa lost her father in 2018 and like most grievers, struggled to find the words to express herself. She decided to sketch something to try and capture what grief felt like and out of this, sketches from a cave - her instagram account - was born. Larissa’s perspective on grief and her disarming, honest and raw sketches hit a nerve with people all around the world and her account started to grow at an incredible rate.

Exploring grief & resilience through creative tools: Delivered by grief coach Georgina Bednar
During the 45min workshop, we will;
- Explore resilience in a creative, tactile way (please bring some bluetac or a rubber band)
- Creative facilitation to explore how we might create space for our grief and to share our experiences
- Unpack what grief coaching is and how it differs from counselling
Georgina’s workshops often involve interactive tools, which help facilitate collective sharing of our experiences. The tone is often fun, thoughtful and encourages a sense of connection.

About Georgina Bednar
Georgina is the founder of No Ordinary Experience; small arts led company working across social change, facilitation, coaching and the arts. Georgina began her career facilitating workshops and projects with artists & communities across London. She has worked extensively within youth contexts, faith communities and arts organizations to drive collaborative conversations on the ‘big questions’ on organisational change, youth violence, gender, international aid, collaboration and creativity. She has led workshops at the Southbank Centre, Royal Opera House, Sadler’s Wells, Southbank Centre, The Children Society, Represent Theatre, British Science Association, Goldsmith University, The Greater London Authority, Tate Collective and with a host of smaller arts organisations and with individual artists. She has trained in Relational Dynamics, Open Spaces, Forum Theatre & other arts based practices, and recently trained with Jenny McKewan in Systematic Coaching (e.g. Constellations).

About Liz Dore:
Liz is a qualified personal budget coach and debt advisor. She has worked as a volunteer with a variety of clients for more than 10 years, helping them to handle their personal money, manage their benefits, and understand their debt management options.
She is also an Independent Advocate, taking action to help people with mental health disabilities and dementia to say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need.
In her professional career she has worked for IBM for 30+ years as a Trusted Business Advisor in a variety of management, sales and technical roles in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, she is an IT Economics Consultant, working with clients across Europe to understand the economics of their IT platforms and strategic infrastructure.
