Shevie Vahdatpour’s gymnastics journey started like many do: in rec classes and then competing as a child and teenager. But unlike many young gymnasts who lose interest or quit due to injury or by choice, Shevie’s last day in the sport came unexpectedly. She joins Better Late to talk about making her way back to the sport after ten years away, being ready to compete again, and how to live in the uncertainty of adult gymnastics. She also talks about her ideal training scenario, getting over mental blocks, and how to set up a home gym.
