  • 2022-06-12 The Day of the Lord
2022-06-12 The Day of the Lord by Steve Hudson Scripture Reference: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 5 Now as to the periods and times, brothers and sisters, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord is coming just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness, so that the day would overtake you like a thief; 5 for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; 6 so then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we are of the day, let’s be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. 11 Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.

  • 2022-06-05 The Cost Of Sin & Finding God's Forgiveness
2022-06-05 The Cost Of Sin & Finding God's Forgiveness by Pastor Nick Greco Scripture Reference: Psalm 51 1 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness;According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquityAnd cleanse me from my sin.3 For I know my transgressions,And my sin is ever before me.4 Against You, You only, I have sinnedAnd done what is evil in Your sight,So that You are justified when You speakAnd blameless when You judge. 5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,And in sin my mother conceived me.6 Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom.7 Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.8 Make me to hear joy and gladness,Let the bones which You have broken rejoice.9 Hide Your face from my sinsAnd blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,And renew a steadfast spirit within me.11 Do not cast me away from Your presenceAnd do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvationAnd sustain me with a willing spirit.13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,And sinners will be converted to You. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation; Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.15 O Lord, open my lips,That my mouth may declare Your praise.16 For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it;You are not pleased with burnt offering.17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. 18 By Your favor do good to Zion;Build the walls of Jerusalem.19 Then You will delight in righteous sacrifices,In burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then young bulls will be offered on Your altar.

2022-05-15 It Ain’t A Spectator Sport by Steve Hudson Scripture Reference: Philippians 2:12-16 12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.
