Yes, the classic sea song you've heard before. I worked up this arrangement for the Russian-American-British sea shanty group I've been playing with. Though I can barely manage 3-finger chords in a couple of keys, I've been adding mandolin to some of our tunes. In this case the bluegrass chop of my F-hole F-style really adds some nice rollicking energy. I think.

This is a recording I made of the Bluegrass Gentlemen performing an original song written by Jackie Wooten called "Your Memory". Jeff Barnett on Guitar, Jackie Wooten on Bass, David Church on Banjo and Brian Baker on Mandolin. Jackie and David are old school Bluegrass pickers who played with the Skyline Bluegrass Express Band on the Grand Ole Opry with Bill Monroe.
