Mandy Botham is the Head Women’s Basketball at Coach Red Deer College in Alberta Canada.  She is entering her 4th year as the head coach.  She’s been coaching for 15 years and has coached at many levels.  In her own words “I put an emphasis on developing "universal players" who have the skills to play any position. Character and attitude are massively important to me. I will never sacrifice character for talent, no matter how good an athlete may be.  I love leadership and empowering other people. I have been so fortunate to have incredible mentors in my life. I feel a strong desire and a sense of responsibility to give back to upcoming coaches who are trying to learn and advance their careers. I strive to lead by example for my athletes, and to serve my community. I am a certified Mentor Coach (via The Coaching Association of Canada).
