Manhattan's Voice

We're back, covered in plaid, and ambitious as ever! This week, we highlight some of the important things happening on campus and in the Big Apple, discuss some of our plans for the very near future, then wrap up by recommending some of our favorite podcasts (other than Manhattan's Voice, of course). We won't spoil the best parts of the episode in the description, so you'll have to listen and find on what's coming! Have a great week, everyone!

By the time you see and hear this episode it'll already be November, but we try to finish Spooky Season 2019 off strong with another fun trivia game. If you're an NYIT Manhattan student, you'll definitely want to pay attention to our segment on this week's events as there are some new and exciting things coming to our campus. We hope you all enjoyed your October and especially your Halloween; have a great weekend!

We recorded a great interview with Omer Schecter from Consultants for the Public Good this week, but tragedy struck our studio, and half of the episode's audio was unrecoverable. Nicole does her best to paraphrase some of the important pieces that were lost, but the Manhattan's Voice team would love to have Omer or anyone representing CFPG back on the podcast to give an in-depth look at running an event and advocating for amazing causes.

This week, Manhattan's Voice welcomes Cybrieme Hargrove to the podcast! It's always a joy to have someone so passionate on the show, and Cybrieme demonstrates how his drive for creativity fuels his ambition. We hope you enjoy the episode, and we definitely recommend checking out Cybrieme's Instagram pages below. Have a great week!

Here it is, folks: the full, uncut interview with President Hank Foley on Thursday, September 26th. The footage for the interview will be uploaded to our YouTube channel soon, but we wanted to get this out to you all as fast as possible! We hope you enjoy, and please give us your feedback on Instagram through a direct message or a comment on one of our posts!

We decide to mix things up and do some very seasonal trivia for the main portion of the episode after highlighting the 2019-2020 academic year's first issue of the Manhattan Globe! If you've been around campus and haven't picked up a copy yet, be sure to do so! Also, please enjoy our attempts to answer Halloween-related trivia questions. Tune in to find out who comes out on top, and have a great week!

Last week, we had the honor of interviewing NYIT's President Hank Foley to discuss the goings-on with the New York City campus and what's in store for students attending the university from the five boroughs and beyond. We try not to give too much away since the full, uncut interview will be released very soon, but we hope this little update satisfies you for now! So sit back, listen in, and enjoy!

In this week's episode, we discuss our various escapades, projects, and duties from the past few days, all leading up to discussions on the Global Climate Strike that occurred on September 20th and the updated expansion plan for NYIT's Manhattan campus. There are some important details to listen out for in this episode, so please enjoy!

Lots of events to inform you all about in this week's episode! Big things are coming up on the Manhattan campus, including Voter Registration Day and the first major tech conference of the year. We also talk shortly about the progress being made on the Manhattan Globe, which will be launching very soon. You can find all of the relevant links from the episode at the bottom of the description. For us at NYIT Manhattan, the school year has officially begun. After finishing a full cycle of classes, we wanted to discuss the ways we here at Manhattan's Voice deal with stress, organization, spending our free time, and coping with our newfound celebrity status. Hope you all had a great week!
