The town feels like a film set from another era, and the station still looks like a steam-era train set: red bricks and passengers that could be extra in a spy novel. She arrives at St Leonards-on-Sea with an assignment: find him, recover the stolen SLM and report back to the Company. Then she finds the first signal. Was someone expecting her arrival?
