A psalm that is used to confuse the Pharisees -in the old concealed, in the new revealed - David is king lord but is under The Lord.  David is setting things up for Solomon to become king, laying everything out to protect both Solomon and Israel from confusion about how to honor God.

A song of praise at the dedication of the house of the Lord.  Saul is transformed from persecuting the church to Paul, a chosen instrument by God, to bear His name before the gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel.  Peter in the power of the Holy Spirit heals a dead woman.

Meditations of how holy, loving and righteous God is.  David sins and takes a census angering the Lord for not trusting in Him.  David repents and builds and alter to the Lord.

The mighty men of David are named.  David prays for grace and protection and exults the Lord for His faithful lovingkindness.  As Saul begins ravaging the church Philip meets with an Ethiopian eunuch and shares the gospel with him which results in his baptism being the first gentile conversion.

David takes responsibility for his own sin and asks God for help.  David and the sons of Korah's admonition of their depression and how they're dwelling on it, yet David writes glorifying God saying all the He's done for him.

David settles an account against Saul for the Gibeonites.  David prays for the protection from the wicked.  Steven gives the historic testimony of Israel and cries out to the Lord while being martyered for saying he saw Jesus seated beside God.

Psalms of David seeing himself still in great sin yet trusting God in all times as king, seeking Him for guidance, confident in His protection and deliverance from secret enemies.  The apostles choose Steven (who's filled with the Holy Spirit) and six others to serve the fellowship of believers.  Steven draws the attention of many of the religious leaders who become threatened by his wisdom and accuse him falsely.

Absalom chases after David as the new king but comrades bring news of his plots.  Absalom becomes entangled and is killed, all consequences of David's sin.  Ananias & Sapphira die by God's hand.  Jealousy causes Peter and the apostles to be imprisoned.

Psalms of David written possibly while running from Absalom, being forced to fully trust the Lord God.  With David in a strategic retreat more intrigue ensues as Absalom takes over as king and the prophecy Nathan gave David as a judgment by God plays out.
