Thursday: The Night He Was Handed Over**

The Last Supper. The foot washing. The moment Satan entered Judas — and Jesus told him to go quickly. The garden of Gethsemane. The cup. The arrest. Thursday of Holy Week is the night everything shifted, and it is loaded with some of the most important theology in all of Scripture. Today we go deep — because Thursday deserves it.

Wednesday: The Quiet Day — What God Does in the Silence

The Gospels go almost completely silent on Wednesday of Holy Week. No miracles. No teaching. No confrontations. Just Jesus — resting in Bethany, being loved by friends, preparing for what was coming. Today we sit in the silence and talk about what God does in the in-between days. The days that look like nothing is happening. The days most of us are actually living in.

Tuesday: The Day They Tried to Trap God — And Failed

The Pharisees. The Sadducees. The Herodians. One by one they came at Jesus with their best traps — and one by one He dismantled every single one. Tuesday of Holy Week is the longest recorded day of Jesus' ministry, and what happens on it is breathtaking. Today we walk through every confrontation, every question, every attempt to corner Him — and watch what it looks like when a man is so grounded in who He is that nothing can shake Him.

Monday: The Temple, The Tables, and The God Who Won't Be Domesticated**

He didn't flip tables because He was having a bad day. He flipped tables because the vulnerable were being exploited in the house of God — and He was the only one in the room with the authority and the love to do something about it. Today we talk about what really happened on Monday of Holy Week, why "flipping tables" is not a personality type, and the God who refuses to stay manageable.

Everyone was cheering. But nobody understood what He actually came to do. Before the parade, before the palms, before the hosannas — God had already written this moment 500 years in advance. Today we slow down and meet the King who rides in not to overthrow Rome, but to do something far more costly. This is Holy Week. And we're not rushing to Sunday.

James closes with fire and tenderness woven together.

A warning to wealthy oppressors. Encouragement to suffering believers. A call to integrity. A command to pray boldly. A charge to rescue the wandering.

This final chapter asks the question that echoes through the entire book: When pressure comes, does your faith collapse — or does it endure?

Real faith holds money loosely.

Real faith waits without bitterness.

Real faith prays like heaven moves.

Real faith pursues the drifting.

This is mature faith.

And James leaves us no room to fake it.

James gets confrontational — and necessary.

Conflict, envy, pride, worldliness, spiritual adultery. This chapter calls out divided loyalty and lukewarm living. You cannot flirt with the world and claim wholehearted devotion to Christ.

We unpack what friendship with the world actually looks like today, how pride disguises itself in Christian language, and why humility is the only doorway to grace.

God opposes the proud.

But He gives more grace to the humble.
