The authenticity that Jesus is calling you to isn’t an authenticity of emotion but one of identity.

The only way to receive what we most deeply desire is to sometimes do what we don’t want to do.

If your discipleship is about you, then it can’t be about Jesus.

When our actions aren’t in line with our emotions, that’s maturity.
