This week we are discussing chapters 9 -12 of Mansfield Park. Everyone is starting to reveal their true colors, and Fanny is noticing it all, while going mostly ignored herself.

This week we are covering chapters 5 - 8 of Mansfield Park. The Crawfords presence has caused very mixed emotions in the young people and they are still figuring out this new dynamic.

This week we start Jane Austen’s most complex novel Mansfield Park. We cover chapters 1-4, which span 30 years and explore the character’s childhoods like no other Austen novel we’ve read.

This week we finally get the game we’ve been talking about doing for months, Thimbleweed Park. It’s a throwback to 80’s and 90’s point and click adventure games. It a ton of fun, gets very meta, has a load of nostalgic references and very retro pixel art.

This week we pay tribute to one of our favorite artists and a pillar of the podcast, David Lynch.

This week we are covering the 2022 documentary Lynch/Oz. It is a collection of essays about the connections between David Lynch’s work and The Wizard of Oz. It also delves into The Wizard of Oz’s influence over much of American cinema.

This episode was recorded prior to David Lynch’s passing. We are deeply saddened and our hearts are with his family, friends and the innumerable people across the world he touched with his work. Rest in Peace

We are focusing on David Lynch this month and starting with his most recent project, the album Cellophane Dreams that he made with Chrystabell. It is ethereal and experimental, and we enjoyed the journey of trying to figure out whether we liked it or not.

We are starting the New Year off with a check-in. We discuss what’s coming up for us on the podcast, go over how our holiday’s went, talk about our goals for the new year and take some quizzes that seem a littl too accurate.

‘Twas the day before Christmas and we wanted to see some Hot Frosty. Originally it was going to be a commentary but it turned into a lovely retelling, a la Christian. We hope you all have lovely holidays and a happy New Year! We will talk to you again in 2025.
