This weeks episode is with my friend Chris Gelnett, a GM in USPSA Open Division. Chris shoots a Venom Custom open guns. Chris placed 21st in Open at his 1st ever nationals. Open is the division that everyone compares to F1 racing, all speed no drag.   Chris was able to make GM by getting a match bump for winning the Virginia State Championship match in 2021 right before nationals. We talk about how Chris got into shooting, the progression to open, and then how he rose to the top of the competition.

This week on "Manny Talks Shooting" we are siting down with a M class revolver shooter Travis "pewpew" Crain. Travis is down in the South Carolina section where shooting never stops.  Travis is a former marine. He loves shooting. This is a special episode of the "Manny Talks Shooting Podcast", this week we sit down with my friend Jason Wood of Targets USA, "Manufacturers of the Finest steal targetry on the planet!!" said by Steve Anderson. We sit down with Jason and talk about his time before starting the business. Things he has learned and developed over the years of running a steal target manufacturer, time as an competitive shooter, his findings and learning about setting up and running matches across the country, and ways to improve matches locally. Jason helps run a very successful action steal match up in Alaska. Jason has been know for his Rhino Knock Plates and other creations like the "Holy Monkey" of the "Wheel of Misfortune". Jason has a lot in store for the future so you better keep your eyes open.
