Points, cash-back, frequent flyer miles - all marketing strategies to measure loyalty to our favorite brands. So how are Jesus-followers called to a deeper standard of loyalty and faithfulness to each other - even when the rewards may benefit others more than ourselves?

The choice is easy, isn't it? Right or wrong, light and dark, good vs. evil? But what if choosing goodness isn't about comparing ourselves to the wicked things of this world - but rather, seeing how we measure up to an infinitely good God.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" sounds so elementary. But when faced with frustration, injustice, hate, inconvenience, or... an epidemic - how easy is it really? For Jesus-followers, showing and sharing kindness isn't just the best option, it's an obligation.

In a "one-click away" culture, patience isn't just a virtue - it's a superpower. But how can we as Jesus-followers bring peace not just to ourselves, but to others as well?

Am I maintaining my calm in crisis because I have Christ or am I just as frustrated as those without Jesus?

As we continue exploring the Fruit of the Spirit, it's important to recognize that experiencing joy isn't the only goal.

To find our identity in Christ - we must model His example of choosing compassion first.

While it will be important to discuss how COVID-19 threatens to change the details of worship services and religious rituals, conversations about who we will be during this crisis must be priority. Join us virtually on Sunday mornings as we study and develop “Holy Spirit character,” the kind of life principles that will not only help us survive, but thrive in our time of crisis.
