Reddgo Bernard Long, Jr. was born on January 1, 1993 in Silver Spring, MD, to Bishop Reddgo Long, Sr. and First Lady Clara Long. At the age of five, he was baptized in Jesus’ name at Greater Morning Star Pentecostal Church in Washington, DC and at the age of 8 years old, he received the gift of the Holy Ghost. He soon acknowledged his call to ministry as he began to preach on the streets at a very early age. God has equipped him to minister with a unique anointing while delivering thought-provoking, timely messages that are impactful, life changing and empowering.

Elder Long is an emerging youthful voice in this generation that God is illuminating to speak truth to power. His anointed teaching, powerful preaching, and sincere humility has allowed him to minister the Word of God nationally and internationally.

Elder Reddgo Long, Jr. serves as Pastoral Assistant of Greater Morning Star Apostolic Church in Wilmington, North Carolina where the Pastor is his father, Bishop Reddgo Long, Sr. He also serves as the International Youth President over the Apostolic Faith Fellowship International Youth Auxiliary under the leadership of his spiritual grandfather, Presiding Bishop Charles E. Johnson.

In June of 2017, Elder Long successfully founded The A.C.T.S. Movement Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing relief to families in need while encouraging community cohesiveness and building partnerships with businesses, churches, and non-governmental agencies.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Sports Leadership & Tourism Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master of Education in Higher Education - Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

He aims to motivate a generation of believers to get up, grow up, and go up. He allows his life to reflect the message that he preaches as he strives to win souls for Christ. Elder Long’s desire is to serve God as an agent of change in the earth and has made it his personal mission to depopulate hell, one soul at a time!

Pastor Bonnie Hunter answered the call of God after serving faithfully for 20 years, at the Greater Friendship Church, under the awesome leadership of Bishop Zenobie Davis, her pastor and father.

In May 1995, the Lord led Pastor Hunter to start a neighborhood bible study group on Saturdays in her home.  Waiting on the timing of God, she remained faithful in her father’s ministry until he retired, due to health problems.  The church eventually ended; then the Lord told her it was her time.  Shortly, thereafter, with much prayer and consultation with her pastor, she launched out to plant a church.   She sought the Lord for a name, and He told her to “take the spirit of your father”.  She named the church “Friendship Church Outreach Ministry, Inc” (FCOM). She went out like Abraham, not knowing who would go with her or where to go, but the Lord was faithful who called her.

The church’s membership continues to grow.  Today, the church has over 500 members and countless visitors who come to worship God, be saved, delivered, and set free.  Many ministries have been added to accommodate the needs of the membership.  Friendship Bible Institute was established in July 2006. FCOM, now has 4 churches that have come out of the ministry. Continue to pray for Friendship as we keep our focus on “Reaching and Preaching for Jesus” (RAP), with the reward of souls being won to the Kingdom of God.  Pastor Hunter holds on to the scripture (Acts 26:22) “Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue to this day, witnessing to small and great, saying nothing beyond what the Prophets and Moses said would happen.”

Born May 27, 1922 in Franklington, North Carolina, Apostle Leroy H. Cannady is referred to as an “Apostolic Father” by his peers. In a world that is constantly changing, Bishop Cannady holds fast to the Apostolic Doctrine. He has been a major soldier on the battlefield for many years. He was the Pastor of Refuge Way of the Cross Church of Christ, Inc. over for 50 years.

Among his many accomplishments are:

Apostle Cannady was married for sixty-four (64) years to the late First Lady Virginia R. Cannady until her transition on April 29, 2008. He is the proud father of eight children (one has passed), twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Among all of his many accomplishments however, Bishop Cannady is often heard to say: “The greatest name you can call me is a servant. For I am a servant of God and to the people of God.”

Even after reaching his 100th Birthday, Apostle Cannady still travels around the country to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Dr. LaVonne Hairston is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her medical degree from the Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee and then went on to complete her residency training at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Hairston is extremely passionate about women’s healthcare and has a keen interest in caring for the adolescent and young adult population. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the National Medical Association, and Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Incorporated. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Twila Lindsay joined the Metropolitan School of Professional studies in October 2018. Prior to joining The Catholic University of America, she served as a Campus Dean at Strayer University for several campuses in the Metropolitan area. In addition, she served as a Research Psychologist for the Department of Transportation, and CEO for a Residential Treatment Facility for Youth. Dr. Rayvann Kee II is the CEO of Kee Elements, Founder of the Kee 2 Wellness movement, and owner and principle psychologist of EmpowerMeant Counseling, Coaching, and Consulting, LLC.
