Earlier in season 3, we covered the death of Manuel Ellis at the hands of 3 Tacoma Police officers. After a last minute motion to dismiss from the officers’ defense teams failed, the trial of these officers is set to begin with jury selection on 9/18.

Manny Ellis was a young Black man, doing his best to get by, just like the rest of us. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. And he should still be alive today.
