Wamie checked himself into Akeso after 5 years post the death of his mom after his step dad short her and shot himself.

He tells us about loss, drug and alcohol addiction and his journey to recovery. He tells us about his passion - photography and how hustling and business are now a core part of his life :)

I speak to Zeh McGeba one of the founders of Goldenvybes - a vocalist and Bree Anate a DJ and a vocalist with a passion for drama.

They tell us about their journey in the arts, particularly as black young people with traditional parents, the schools that have played a major role in their journey and how you can get into those schools.

Furthermore, we speak about GBV and being African. All in all where you come from does not define you!

We speak to a PhD graduate Dr. MO Bodunrin - a researcher in the field of Metallurgy and Material Science. A teacher at heart with a passion and zeal for Africa and all things African.

We speak to our first non-South African Kuzivakwashe (Kuzi) Magada.

She takes us through her academic journey and career aspirations. She shows us how she managed to get through academic failure and succeed. She is now a volunteer at a seedling company in Zim and is working on her entrepreneurship endeavors :)

There are three lessons that I learnt from her:

1. When making a decision, you are the only person that needs to be okay with it!

2. Have a great acquisition strategy but an even greater retention strategy.

3. Purpose is an evolving concept, you yourself are an evolving being!
