Three Manx residents have been honoured by his Majesty the King for his Birthday Honours List.

David McLean and Captain Stuart McKenzie has been awarded MBEs and Wendy McDowell has been awarded a BEM.

Mr McLean and Mrs McDowell spoke to Chanelle Sukhoo.

Captain Stuart was unavailable for interview.

The Infrastructure Minister says his department has been consulting with local authorities since Autumn last year and new regulations can come into force next year.

As the life-saving charity prepares to celebrate its 200th anniversary, it's partnered up with Manx gin producer Fynoderee Distillery to create a special 'coastal collection'.

The gin itself has various ingredients and botanicals ranging from nutmeg and liquorice to sugar kelp, and will raise funds for the RNLI, as well as highlighting the organisation's Manx ties.

Water levels in the Isle of Man’s reservoirs are in ‘good order’ despite the prolonged spell of dry weather.

Manx Utilities says it’s total stocks across its four reservoirs – West Baldwin, Clypse, Kerrowdhoo and Sulby – is currently 90 per cent.
