Maple City Pipecast

Not the shows anniversary, the hosts anniversary of marrying the most undersdtanding woman, who accomidates all his various passions. No matter how off the wall.

Monday Night Smoke is on hiatus while the host recovers from a cold. In the mean time, enjoy our regular Wednesday releases.

In this instalment of the Everyman Pipe Smoker Series, we talk with Greg Meyer. A writer with a love for the noble art of pipe smoking.

This Monday Night Smoke is different from the YouTube one because your host is an idiot and forgot to hit record for the podcast.

Not your typical Maple City Pipecast. Just load up your favourite pipe with your favourite tobacco and listen to our impressions on the Red Flag Podcast.

All quotes were read from the show notes of the episode Get Vexed Y'all, produced by Podastery Studios.

Ted Kaye’s book: Good Flag, Bad Flag “Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests upon the great truth, that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery -- subordination to the superior race -- is his natural and normal condition.” Confederate Vice-President Alexander Stephans’ Cornerstone Speech, given on March 21, 1861

In this episode, we review Quiet Nights by G. L. Pease, generously provided by Bare Pipe who is the sponsor of this episode. A link is provided below to his YouTube Channel.

Also, we ask for feedback from listeners. We have been going at a decent clip and some feedback has trickled in about how listeners are liking the short format of the show but I would like more. What do you want to see or hear etc?

No live smoke this week and unfortunately no podcast smoke. Thanksgiving weekend, it threw me right off. Next time I see a statutory holiday when I was planning a live show, I'll be better prepared.

Today we discuss Monday Night Smoke Live, smoking refurbished pipes, Flash Time on Universal Humcast and much more.

On today's episode of Maple City Pipecast we talk about changiong blends when the weather changes, and review a cob mod that I created myself.

Tonight an unprepared host talks his impressions of Orlik Golden Sliced, smoked in an Oom Paul style cob mod. He also talks about anything that comes to mind, up coming episodes, Universal Humdrum and overall impression of this Orlik tobacco.
