Maple City Pipecast

While smoking some Bakerstreet, USA from 4noggins, I will talk about the first Holmes story written. This months book is A Study in Scarlet.

We are starting a new weekly series! Welcome to Briar Report Weekly, in which we feature stories from the previous week of the Briar Report and Briar Report online magazine, as well as stories that didn't make it to either website. Any story not featured on either Briar Report site we graciously provided to Maple City Pipecast by Briar Report editor Phil.

This week we look at the happenings surrounding Missouri Meerschaums 150th anniversary, the seasonal release of the Flying Pig Cigar line from Drew Estates and the passing of actress Bibi Anderson. All related links are below. Hope you enjoy the new series!

Today I talk about how much back and forth went in to the process of finalizing the parameters of the shape, stem and other details needed for Nate to crave my pipe.

On Today's Monday Night Smoke, we continue the look into the Pipe Smokers Laws. Only 5 more after this, and since MNS is going on hiatus during the nicer weather, the last Laws Episode in the series will still come up next month.

In this months tobacco impression, I try Acadian Perique. A lovely mixture of Perique, Dark Fired Kentucky and others. Will this be the first 5 Star rating given on Maple City Pipecast?? You'll have to listen to find out.

On this Monday Night Smoke, we are looking at Cob Modding. Why it's done, why it's fun, and anything in between.

If your like me, you smoke your pipe while listening to podcasts. Maple City Pipecast is going to start reviewing podcasts of all kinds.

As we usually do, a look at the various episodes coming up this month on Maple City Pipecast.

This was supposed to be a dual pipe review, but things didn't quite work out so we have a small conversation instead of a second pipe review. Sorry about that.
