National and sometimes violent farmer protests have erupted across Europe, as farmer with their tractors and other gear, as well as hay bales and more, challenging their governments and EU policies and taxes have and are blocking roads and highways in EU nations. Belgian farmers engaged in throwing debris at the EU parliament in Brussels and bottles as Belgian police. Nations involved include: Belgium, Netherlands, France, Poland, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria. How are Canada's farmers viewing what their counterparts are doing and might we see something similar in Canada, as the European protests grow in number? Canada's farmers have expressed their anger and frustration at the federal government's carbon tax and fertilizer policies. and the WCWGA website warns: "Ottawa to blame for impending food shortage storm."
