One thing which we must never forget is that the cross involves us. . . that we are the reason for the cross.

The cross is about a life given for us.

Why was there such a great need?

Because we are like lost sheep as Isaiah notes in Isaiah 53:6. . .

All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.

The offense was great but the response was even greater!

The offense. . .

Man sinned against a Holy God!

The Response. . .

The Death of His Only Begotten Son for our sin!
